hard hike 5 to 7 mi facilities are nice the gravel road is very wide but practically no shade come early

Fantastic views from mountain top.just be sure you have a vehicle that is capable of handling the rough unpaved road.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a jog, walk, or breathe in some fresh air. I completed a 5k marathon and was treated to beautiful, serene scenery. Everyone I encountered on the trail was very kind and acknowledged me as I passed by. I highly recommend it.

Not far, but steep so be prepared for the day after. . . Also it’s a loose,rocky,dusty drive up the winding road, facilities are spartan but adequate. Bring water,Tp,and snacks- pack it in,pack it out. . . And it can be windy on top, know the weather report for your trip. Excellent YouTube videos on the Konocti Project for history. . . Enjoy!!!!

Perfect winter hike. Drive up is adventure too – awesome views love did Wright Peak, recommend!! Its work. There’s also opportunity to complete Howard & Buckingham peaks too. Look up Mt. Konocti on Alltrails. Cabin & airplane crash are on the Wright Peak Trail.
