The caboose experience is one for the books. The owner Ali and her team were top notch and made the stay worthwile! We appreciate all their acommadations!!! Breakfast was wonderful both days! Thank you everyone!! My son adored the activities that they had around. The tree swing, hammocks, chessboards, pool, kids ninja star throwing, and of course an oldie but always goodie, the etch a sketch! The jaccuzzi in the room hit the spot after a long drive along with some of our favorite movies on the roku tv! We would love to return and check out the other cabooses! Romantic getaway or family vaca they did a really great job and were so super friendly!

We had a large family reunion/vacation at the Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast in June and it was AMAZING!!
One of the most relaxing vacations I’ve had!
Ali is a wonderful host/owner. She is very friendly and makes sure you are happy and enjoying your stay.
All of the employees were very kind, friendly and willing to help!
The grounds are very pretty and well cared for with lots of green grass to lounge on and read a book as well as an area for outdoor games!
The lake is just steps away to go kayaking, or long boarding. All of which you “check out “ at the train depot front desk.
The cleanliness of the grounds , cabooses and the train depot (where breakfast is served) , were all a 10/10! I’m very picky and I had no complaints!
I have another tripped already booked for this winter!

What a fun place! We are not into railroads, but if you are then this place is a must. We stayed in Murder on the Orient Express. We enjoyed the hot tub after our drive. In the morning before breakfast, we sat up in the cupola and read with the gorgeous view of the lake. We watched the many birds on the lake, the shore, and the dock. The area is well shaded with very nice grass and flowers. The homemade breakfast was tasty, well presented, and filling. The staff was top notch and helpful. Communication was excellent even with us arriving late.

This place is so beautiful and peaceful. Staying in a caboose alone is worth it, wil all the different themes, you can come here multiple times and have a different experience each visit.
The breakfast is delicious. And to swing on the swing with the view of yge late is amazing. Even if you don’t swing, seeing the lake from the patio chairs is so cool.
We will definitely come back and tell everyone about it.
This visit we stayed in the Wine Country Caboose.

We stayed here for 1 day and it was a really cool, memorable experience. Each room is inside an old train caboose/rail car and they’ve done a great job making everything look antique. The two-person jet tub was definitely a highlight.

We played outside on the games, which was really fun, and there’s a huge swing that made me feel like a kid again. Lots of hammock swings everywhere too, which made it really relaxing to just hang out outside.

The property is right by a beautiful lake, but it was full of algae so you can’t really use it. They also have a pool and offer breakfast onsite. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but overall it’s still a memorable stay for the experience.
