I bring both my cars to Victor, a Mercedes GLK and a Tacoma, and I won’t go anywhere else. Every time, he either fixes the problem quickly and for a fair price, or he’s honest enough to point me to someone who can do it better. And he doesn’t take a cut for sending you there. Small stuff like airing up my tires or reattaching my license plate after a fender bender, he and his team just handle for free. It’s a true old-school local shop where they treat you like a friend, not a number. Hard to find that these days. If you’re in Calistoga and need honest work on your car, go see Victor.

Victor and his crew were awesome! Reasonable pricing and super knowledgeable about my 1986 toyota sunrader when our power steering belt seized up and snapped in the middle of a 2 week family roadtrip. He took the time to explain the situation and show me other optional fixes/maintenances to be done too, then got the necessary parts within 24 hours, and fit us into their schedule super fast. I had gone to our local mechanic for a “pre trip check up” a couple weeks earlier and all they did was an oil change with nothing else to mention/recommend. Immediately, Victor pointed out some leaking gaskets, dirty brake fluid, old air intake filter, and inspected all the spark plugs too. Super thorough, informative, and none of it felt like he was trying to pressure me into unnecessary upsells. Our classic camper was back to running smoothly and the rest of our trip was a success thanks to these guys’ quick work. Wish I had a mechanic of this capability and integrity in my home town.

My Nissan Murano broke down at the gas station in Calistoga and I opened my hood to see if there was anything I could see that was I could see wrong with it, as my Son had had just done some repair on it in Clearlake. While I was doing this, a man crossed the street and introduced himself as Victor, the owner of the Calistoga Auto Repair that was across from us and he asked me if there was anything he could do to help me. I took my truck over to his shop. He did a diagnostic test and told me what he found wrong and he had an estimate for me. I told Him that I didnt have much money and would have to borrow from my Son. Victor is an awesome person and he helped me out with everything cost wise and loaned me a vehicle to get back to my home in Santa Rosa in while it was being taken care of. If you have a repair you need on your vehicle or break down, you can trust Victor and his crew of mechanics at Calistoga Auto Repair to be Top Knotch!

Victor is great! He was able to get me in at the end of the day while they were busy with another problem to look at a leak in my tire. They pulled a nail out of the tire, plugged it and had me back on the road in less than 15 minutes. They are highly professional and I would recommend them to anyone!

We were travelling from San Jose when our tire deflated by a lot. We visited Calistoga Auto Repair and they were fantastic. Extremely helpful and they took great care of us. Definitely recommend coming here for any of your tire needs. They are wonderful!
