Great experience. Marcela and I have done bicycle tours in many cities and wine areas throughout the world and we really enjoyed this one. The e-bikes were very good quality and the wireless communication helmets were excellent, first time use for us.
Our guide, Bruce, did a really good job. He was patient with us, never hurrying us along, and very engaging in conversation. We learned a lot about the area, about various wineries and future places to visit. The highlight of the tour was an unplanned visit to one of Bruce’s favorite wineries. Beautiful setting and although not planned they invited us in and we spent maybe an hour being shown their facility and tasting their wine.
All-in-all, an excellent way to spend the day seeing and learning about Dry Creek Valley and surrounding area.
Our Russian River adventure was absolutely wonderful and truly one of the highlights of our trip. We traveled all the way from San Diego to San Jose and decided to make the journey part of the experience by not renting a car and we’re so glad we did. We took BART into downtown San Francisco, headed to the Embarcadero, caught a ferry to Larkspur, then grabbed a train to Windsor, just one stop before arriving in Healdsburg. That scenic, relaxed journey set the perfect tone and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The river trip itself was everything we hoped for and more. It was super fun, tranquil, and peaceful, with the soothing sounds of birds all around us. The water was calm but still playful enough to be fun, making it ideal for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty.
The canoes were very stable, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of room for the two of us to enjoy the ride without feeling cramped. Everything felt well-organized and easy, allowing us to fully unwind and soak in the charm of the area.
Healdsburg is such a wonderful town full of charm, and pairing it with a Russian River trip is an absolute must do. This experience exceeded our expectations, and we are already talking about coming back next time with more of our friends. Highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable, and fun river experience.
My wife and I did the first e-bike tour of 2026 for Russian River Adventure on a perfect sunny day. Bruce was our guide and he described the specifics of the tour before we started, it was EXACTLY what we were looking for. A pedal down a scenic back road in the middle of wine country with two way conversation helmets. Bruce was so knowledgeable of the wineries, history and fauna. Great vista’s, company, lunch and a memorable experience to take home.
Easy sign up and check in!
River was so quiet we were the ONLY ones the entire trip! Just us, the fish, the birds and the sunshine!!
The kayak was pretty easy to row, we were definitely amateurs but didn’t get into too much trouble!
There was one location that we had to carry it and that was a little awkward. The river seemed well maintained and clean.
The benches got a little hard on the tush but I just sat low in the kayak.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
