Incredible. Best Mexican food I’ve had outside of MX. get the tlayuda or quesabirria. lots of gluten free options too – blue corn tortillas. HUGE portions – expect to eat for 2 meals. Nice outdoor patio. The indoor lights are bright and you can hear lots of cars from the patio.
Having visited twice, the food here is good, mostly the staff is very nice, but waiting for food orders is common. Unfortunately, one staff member’s unprofessional behavior, specifically touching her hair and face after retrieving food, led me to decide it would be my last visit. I did speak to another staff member about the issue.
Maybe in the future we may return but for now we will look for a new Mexican restaurant.
Great food. Cute family run place. I got the Huarache and my partner got the Pambazo. Horchata was thick and flavorful. Homemade chips and salsa were particularly tasty as well.
I came here fairly close to closing time and they still took my order. I ordered a carne asada burrito, and let me tell you, it is the largest burrito I have seen in Lake county without a doubt. It was very good, the rice was excellent, and there wasn’t a shortage of all of the different fillings. The price was a little bit high, but it was definitely worth it because of the size of the burrito. You have to go get a burrito from here! You’ll see what I’m saying. Very helpful and polite staff and although it took them a minute to make my meal, it was all made right then. Nothing that I noticed was really pre-made. I would absolutely come here again. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for some really good Mexican food
Oaxaca style cuisine, not much on the menu but every thing we had, had much flavor. Very tasty entrees and serving sizes were good. Birria caldo was excellent along with the torta mixte. Green table salsa was also fire. Fresh tortillas were eaten very quickly. Awesome hole in the wall!
