Truly so kind! As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed. Came in for a estimate and got my door adjusted after it got hit without asking. If you’re looking for honesty and kindness this is your place

I dropped my car off at Guerrero Brothers for what should have been a simple rear end repair. The job was straightforward: replace the dented plastic bumper and fix a small dent on the tailgate, with paint limited only to the damaged areas for proper blending. I took clear before photos showing the original factory color along with the normal everyday scratches, swirls, and minor wear the car had picked up over the few years.

The actual bumper and tailgate repair is decent. The new bumper fits flush, the dent is gone, and the localized paint match and blending look professional. I would rate that specific work about an 8 out of 10. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.

What happened beyond that is unacceptable.

    – They kept my car for nearly three weeks with almost no communication or updates. When your only vehicle is in the shop, that is not just inconvenient, it is crippling.

    – When I got it back, the entire car reeked of strong paint and chemical fumes inside and out. The smell was intense enough to cause headaches and eye and throat irritation for weeks unless all the windows were down. That is not normal for a simple bumper replacement and spot repair.

    – Without telling me or asking for consent, they repainted the entire vehicle. Every panel. The color is now visibly different from the original factory finish, and not in a subtle way. Side by side with my pre drop off photos, the difference is obvious. All of the previous scratches, swirls, and light wear were completely erased, which only happens with a full respray and polish. When I confronted them, they flat out denied repainting the car. There was no extra charge, but I never asked for or authorized a full repaint or color change. That is not bonus work. It is an unauthorized modification and deception.

    – There was also clear evidence of heavy, unauthorized use. I dropped the car off with over half a tank of gas and got it back with barely a gallon left, which suggests hundreds of unnecessary miles for supposed test drives. My dash cam footage has suspicious gaps, and it shows them repeatedly hooking up a battery charger because the battery kept dying. That makes no sense considering the battery is less than a year old and cost nearly four hundred dollars. It was likely drained from leaving accessories on or running the car extensively while I was not there.

Bottom line: they repaired the bumper and tailgate reasonably well, but in the process they turned my car into something completely different. The color changed, the body looks unnaturally pristine, there are unexplained extra miles, a drained battery, and lingering chemical fumes, all without permission or transparency. The lack of communication, the denials when confronted, and the deceptive surprises destroyed any trust.

If you are considering this shop, protect yourself. Document everything beforehand with detailed photos, record the mileage and fuel level, and keep a dash cam running if possible. Get written approval for any work outside the original scope, and trust your instincts if something feels off. Handing over your keys here without strict safeguards is a gamble I will not make again, and I strongly advise others to think twice.

Guerrero brothers took great care of our Family vehicle. The experience with them couldn’t have gone better. Super professional, timely and courteous. Very impressed! Highly recommended.

They had our car for over a month. On the return of our vehicle there where parts missing off of it. When brought in we did not have a check engine light, when returned it did. Sensors were left unplugged which threw a code. Now it seems our coolant hoses were not installed correctly which has now completely drained out. Over all I wish we wouldn’t have brought our car here. In all honesty with the extent of the damage under our vehicle it should have totalled out. Repairs were over 7k. Our car books at 15k. Want some advice don’t take your car here.
