I lost a rear wheel (destroyed) on a tandem boat trailer while travelling to launch the boat in Lakeport, CA. Called Charly’s towing and they responded with a tow truck within about 45 minutes. It was a very difficult load, the trailer was already low and the outboard section with the propeller was only a few inches off the ground. The driver managed to load the boat and trailer using skids without damaging the boat’s propeller. A two hour feat carefully done. Once it arrived at Charly’s shop he evaluated the damage and suggested that all the trailer’s hubs be replaced. This was late Tuesday, I asked that it be ready by Friday and it was. Four new hubs with grease fittings and covers, one new tire. They repaired the damage to the fender, straitened the bent metal. All total $2200 including the tow which took 2 hours to carefully load and a 30 mile drive to Charly’s shop. I’m a fan for life, great service and an extremely pleasant experience, for the repair not the lost wheel, of course. My fault, procrastinated greasing the hubs. Lesson learned.

They came out because we couldn’t get the lug nuts loosen. My daughter got a flat tire. He showed my daughter and grandson how to change a tire. Super friendly. Will use again in the future.
