Incredible service that saved our trip.

My group of friends and I were planning a first time trip Kayak-camping in Tomales Bay. We had originally planned to launch from Millers boat launch and camp at Pelican Point North and made the necessary reservations with BWK. A day before the trip, Pamalah called me to let me know that the weather had shifted and it was highly recommended that we change our plans to launch from Hearts Desire Beach and go to Marshall instead. This plan had more logistical hurdles, but Pamalah was patient and willing to work through everything with us, and answer all of our questions regarding wildlife, bioluminescence . It was clear that she genuinely cared about our trip, and well being.

When we got to Hearts Desire, Dillan went above and beyond as well. We were 30 minutes late, but they handled that without issue, and provided our crew with all the gear and assistance we needed. They made sure we were properly packed, helped us move the kayaks to the beach and gave us a safety briefing. The laminated maps were a simple but huge piece that made our trip so much easier.

We took a day paddle up to Pelican North to see what our trip could have been like, and we were very grateful for Pamalah. Marshall was 10x better and made for an amazing experience.

What a magical experience! Christy, Mandy, and the rest of the crew were amazing. They were super friendly and very attentive. I felt safe the whole tour and enjoyed all the fun facts they shared with us. The equipment was top notch, definitely the fanciest kayak I’ve ever been in. Would definitely book with Blue Waters Kayaking again!

Claire was incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout the tour. As a current teacher, she naturally knew how to engage with children and made sure they felt comfortable and included at every step. Her calm and clear guidance made it easy even for beginners to enjoy the experience.
It felt like we had the entire Tomales Bay to ourselves, which allowed us to take our time and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Along the way, we were able to observe various plants and wildlife, making the trip both fun and educational for the kids.
Overall, it was a relaxing, safe, and enriching experience. I highly recommend it for families traveling with children.
