Robert has been an incredible resource for myself and my boys! Not only have we caught tons of bass and crappie on his guided tours, we have learned so much about where to fish on the lake, fishing techniques , what gear to use, and proper knot tying. I’m so thankful that I had an opportunity to fish a World Class body of water like Clear Lake, but what really made it memorable was my GUIDE! Robert is one of the most patient fishing guides who knows just where to go to put us on the fish. It had been a tough bite that week but because he knew what was working and specifically which spots were holding fish our boat got 16 Large Mouth all before noon. His gear/ boat and language was all very clean and the conversation was very pleasant.

We had such an incredible, easy time fishing. My friend and I already enjoy fishing, so we knew this would be a fun experience for us. I was just hoping that the time on the boat would foster more interest in my girls, and it did!
Robert was so immediately helpful and continually just so kind. He’s a master at retrieving caught lines and detangling crossed ones. The gear he has also ensured we’d be spoiled with so many catches, and that of course gave a lot of excitement to my kids (and I won’t lie, me too). We caught 34 crappies!
Robert was patient to teach us and let us fumble through trying it ourselves, always guiding and encouraging, and he was always ready to help.

I’ve been fishing for bass most of my life and considered myself to be a pretty good angler. I asked Robert to take me out and show me some of the new techniques that he’s familiar with and I wasn’t and I have to tell you it was the best day of fishing in my life. We fished for about 4 or 5 hours and together we put a five fish limit together for around 35 pounds in total weight. That is the first 35 pound bag I’ve ever seen. Robert is not only a skilled angler but a skilled teacher worth every penny.
