I purchased red rock cod and clam chowder at the Sunday market. Before and after grilling the cod, it had a strong, off-putting smell, and the entire party agreed it was clearly spoiled — we had no choice but to discard it. The clam chowder also had an unusual sour taste and was thrown away.

I have enjoyed previous purchases here and have always appreciated the quality, but this was a costly and deeply disappointing experience. Given the price of fresh seafood, I hope this was an isolated incident and that they will be attentive to the fish they sell at the market.
