Check out this house
Coming home you turn in to the neighborhood and pass along well maintained streets and home fronts (with streetlights being planned), and pull up into your “private” drive, with plenty of space for parking. You step out, and the motion sensing lights illuminate the path to the house.
Get in by the laundry room or the front door. If by the laundry room, a spacious kitchen awaits. With everything. A downdraft electric cooktop with a microwave above it. A side-by-side refrigerator, a dishwasher and a single electric oven. All the appliances are stainless. Everything works. Laundry too. There’s lots of cabinet and counter space. Some of the cabinets have glass fronts, perfect for showing collectables. All the cabinets in the house are solid wood and the drawers are all on rollers. There’s a curved, raised lunch counter behind the sink. Recessed dual sinks with disposal. The kitchen is bright and cheery, Lots of light. Many are dimmable.
There’s a big walk in pantry with a lot of shelves and storage space just behind the kitchen.
This house is big and open. Four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2600 sq foot floor plan on a 433A compliant permanant foundation. Nine foot ceilings give the whole house a feel of grandeur and spaciousness. There’s a corner of the house that’s perfect for an office, nursery, rumpus room… Something for Mom and Dad?
There’s a good hospital nearby. Only a mile away.
On winter nights, a fan blown propane fireplace makes the house warm and comfy. Looks nice too. The lights across the lake are beautiful.
The propane tank is owned, not leased.
Speaking of comfort, maintaining it is important, so the entire house has fully insulated eight inch exterior walls and double pane windows. Lower bills in the Summer too, cause the house has Solar.
Solar. The house has 16 panels, all paid for and recently a new inverter was installed.
The roof was recently inspected and is in good condition.
The house has two furnaces and water heaters which operate independently.
And for ‘all your stuff’, there’s a cavernous and secure storage area beneath the house. At one point, there was an airplane in there. All of the house support structure is easily accessable.
A programmable irrigation system is included.
The front door has a simple but ornate look. Deck space allows for a few chairs and table and offers privacy when wanted.
The master bathroom has dual sinks, and a vanity in white. There’s an enclosed glass step-in shower and a wide white bathtub with a built in jacuzzi. Makes bath time for the kids a fun experience!
The master has “his and hers” walk-in closets, each through separate doors, a common countertop and storage beneath. Drawers on rollers there too. The master bedroom and bath occupies the entire southern end of the house.
Enter through dual doors. There’s a sliding door that opens to the balcony and provides views to the neighborhood and lake. On Summer mornings, the bedroom fills with sunlight. Or, you can close the blinds.
There’s a full size pool table that comes along with the sale at no additional cost, if desired.
Crime’s not an issue in this neighborhood, but the house does have an ADT security system installed anyway.
On the outside of the dining room slider there’s an enclosed outdoor pet space, with a door large enough for a medium size dog. The space can easily be taken down.
This is a friendly neighborhood. The HOA secures lake access for the residents.
Speaking of the lake, there’s a great view of it, especially from the elevated sun deck. Very nice on Summer nights.
The house has 2 ceiling fans installed and there’s three more stored beneath the house.
The house comes with a bare 1/3 acre lot on an approximate 4% slope. Improve and use for a pool? Vegetable gardens? Play area for the kids? Your trailer, motor home or boat?
There’s a two car garage on a slab with drywall panels and ceiling with recessed lighting. A couple remote controls go with the garage door opener, There’s a workbench with a power strip installed.
